What To Expect On Your First Visit

1) Client Forms

On your first visit to our office there will be a few forms to be completed.

2) Health Evaluation 

With the forms completed, you will then undergo a health evaluation in order to establish any health problems or concerns.

3) Physical Examination

Our doctors will then perform a physical examination complete with orthopedic and neurological tests to determine the extent of your injury or condition.

4) Diagnostic Imaging

After the examination has been completed, our doctors may choose to send you for diagnostic imaging to aid in determining the cause of your injury or condition, or to aid with the development of an appropriate treatment plan for your injury or condition.

5) Treatment Plan

Once the consultation, history, examination, and diagnostic imaging steps have been completed, your doctor will create a treatment plan.  This treatment plan will then be presented to you, and you and your doctor can decide if proceeding with chiropractic treatment is the best option for you.  

6) Treatment

In most cases, once the treatment plan is presented our patients decide to undergo treatment. If this is the case for you, you will most likely experience your first chiropractic treatment in our office at the time of your first visit.  The type of treatment you experience will depend on which condition is being treated, but some of the more common therapeutic techniques used in our office include chiropractic adjustments, myofascial release techniques, cold laser therapy, and kinesiotaping. 

7) Planning Your Next Visit

Before you leave our office, you will be given at-home recommendations for after treatment care and a plan for the number of treatments your injury or condition will require to heal.
